Hello! We are
C.J. & Janet Northrup
We are the owners, winemakers, vineyard workers, floor sweepers, glass washers… Basically everything!
We enjoy carefully tending to our Famici Estate Vineyard. It takes a lot of work! So, we enlisted our closest friends and family to be a part of this journey – our Famici. What was once a dream has now (literally) grown into a vineyard, winery, and tasting room.

Are dogs allowed at Famici? Yes!
Feel free to bring your well-behaved dogs to enjoy the tasting room and patio! Please keep your dogs leashed at all times. Please ensure they are friendly and respectful to other dogs, and do not disturb other guests. You can use the far side of the parking lot for doggy relief. Please remember to pick up after your pup!
Meet Rusty
Rusty was adopted in 2022, from West Valley Humane Society. He is a work in progress. He is currently working on curbing his cow dog instinct of herding our friends with butt nips, but he loves to stop by the tasting room to say hello to the Famici friends and family!

Amanda
Favorite Wine: The Cabernet Sauvignon! It’s my everyday Cab. So smooth, you can enjoy a glass by itself; just a hint of acid that it’ll pair with pizza or a crockpot stew.
Dick
Favorite Wine: The Vermentino! It has a great taste, very refreshing, and not overpowering. It pairs perfectly with pork, fish or chicken.
Doris
Favorite Wine: Vermentino, because it is such a special and rare grape. Feels very old world. I like how crisp it is and the notes of green apple.
Carla
Favorite Wine: Grenache! It has such bold fruit flavor and smooth texture. Definitely one to grab two bottles of!

Favorite Wine: Going into winter, the Cabernet Sauvignon is well balanced and the flavor is a great representation of the varietal!

We are open Friday through Sunday, 12pm-5pm.

Do we need a reservation?
We are walk-in friendly, on a first come first served basis. For groups of 5 or more, reservations are very appreciated. Call or email for assistance.
Do you have food? Can we bring our own?
As part of an Italian tradition, we offer a complimentary snack with your group’s tasting.
We do have select light fare available for purchase, perfect for 1-3 people.
You are also welcome to bring in your own snacks. Please be mindful of trash.
Are children allowed in the tasting room?
Our tasting room is open to families and children. While we do not have a dedicated play area, we encourage you to bring activities to keep them entertained. The tasting room is situated next to the vineyard, and we kindly ask that all guests refrain from entering the vineyard, as a safety precaution. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
While we aim to be family-friendly, we believe that wine tasting is more suitable for adults. At Famici, we always promote safe and responsible tasting practices.
Do you allow dogs?

Do you host private events?
Bridal parties, birthdays, etc. are welcome to make reservations during tasting room hours. While we are currently not accepting private events, we are open to discussing such events with wine club members. Please call or email for assistance.

Is the tasting room handicap accessible?
Our venue is handicap accessible. For drop-off or pick-up, you can use the front patio area. If needed, parking on the patio is allowed, though space is limited. Please contact us in advance if you require any assistance or special arrangements.
